We are growing and we are seeking an energetic & enthusiastic Territory Sales Manager to rapidly increase sales with new and existing customers within the Michigan Region! Essential Job Duties Use, update, and maintain Customer data in Company's CRM database (SalesForce) on a daily basis and/or as necessary/required.
Serves as the liaison between the factory and the customer/retailer, reviews, communicates, and helps facilitate resolution of On-Hold questions daily to help reduce the delays in production times.
Promotes/sells/secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
Service as technical support to installers and customers via email and phone.
Present and develop presentations at Dealer Certification trainings and other customer training meetings Demonstrate products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in understanding the Norman value proposition.
Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization's products/services.
Make telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints as needed.
Coordinate sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.
Analyze the territory/market's potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers' value to the organization.
Create and manage a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities.
Identify advantages and compare organization's products/services.
Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
Continually learn about new products and improve selling skills.
Participate in trade shows and conventions as required.
Overnight travel is required Job Requirements:
Outside sales, account management experience Sound analytical and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media, web-based apps Proficiency or working knowledge of Salesforce CRM Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Knowledge and background in window coverings industry or related home furnishings industry a plus! Compensation:
