Alliance OB/GYN emphasizes the patient experience, so strong customer service skills are a must! This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, 1 year of experience in a medical office is a plus, but not necessary.
Our front desk staff are responsible for tasks such as checking patients in and out for their appointments, answering phone calls and sending triage messages to the nurses, insurance verification, updating demographic information, schedule appointments, collect copays.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Excellent computer and typing skills.
Our clerical support staff members work out of our East Lansing and Mason locations and rotate through both clinics when needed.
Health, vision, dental, life and 401(k) are available.
Wage is based on experience.
