Identity Access Management System Analyst

Performs application and system development tasks for MSU IT Services Identity Access Management (IAM) systems and services including authentication, authorization, and directory services; provides technical leadership associated with all IAM activities including planning, prioritizing and managing projects, coordinating the completion of service requests and routine assignments; participates on broad campus reaching committees and cross-functional teams; coordinates the creation of, and maintains, technical documentation; participates in middleware services planning activities and works closely with senior management and campus customers to develop new solutions while maintaining current systems; engages in front line coordination with campus customers for client requested assistance, system integration and troubleshooting, while maintaining current knowledge and expertise in cutting edge IAM technologies; examines existing systems and services to identify potential upgrades or enhancements to improve service offerings.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business or related information technology field with coursework in software engineering; five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in software development analysis, design, programming, testing, reporting, and operations; experience working with the design and development of enterprise level Java/EE applications; experience with application or system development in both Windows and Linux environments; experience troubleshooting complex data and system interaction problems; experience with relational databases and analyzing, developing, and working with the SQL language; experience analyzing, developing and working with Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP); experience in at least one scripting language (i.e., Python, Ruby, PowerShell, JavaScript, Perl, VBScript, ksh, csh, sh or bash); experience in working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Web Services or APIs; working knowledge of GIT or equivalent version control system (VCS); or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications:
Broad exposure to varied programming and scripting languages including Python, Ruby, PowerShell, JavaScript, Perl, VBScript, ksh, csh, sh, bash, C, C++, Java, PHP, HTML; experience with drafting and visually communicating authentication, authorization (authz) and accounting (AAA) protocol design principles in computer systems; experience with continuous integration systems and automated build tools; experience deploying, maintaining, and scaling Java web applications; proven experience with MySQL server, Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases; familiarity with multi-tier web application development for enterprise systems; familiarity with the principles of server or database clustering principles; familiarity with the principles of load balancing network traffic to web-based applications and services; familiarity in Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) data format and working with Shibboleth federated authentication for systems or services; knowledge and experience with IAM concepts and current technology trends; ability to draft and visually communicate design concepts of Web services and service oriented architecture; proven experience with Project Management (PMI) concepts and methodology; excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional technical and non-technical teams; comfortable expressing opinions on the proper way to execute tasks and projects, and ability to openly share information in a respectful and collaborative manner; proven experience communicating and working effectively with varied levels of management, colleagues and customers; ability to collaborate with developers to design, build, deploy, and evolve sophisticated systems.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
