Full-time direct placement opportunity for a Technical Specialist for growing investment firm in East Lansing, MI. The ideal candidate will have a variety of technical capabilities and a high level of customer service and support skills. The Technical Specialist will provide all levels of deskside, telephone and online support and is responsible for documenting, tracking, monitoring, communicating, and ensuring customer timely request resolution. - You will develop help sheets and frequently asked questions lists for users and Prepare and place technology tools into production and participate in testing technology tools. - The Technical Specialist will become the SME of your assigned discipline, provide IT guidance for researching and implementing new and/or existing software applications and assure Technical Assistance center is trained and has adequate documentation to provide end user support. - Customer data protection is imperative at all levels of interaction for the Technology Specialist position as you execute all tasks related to inventory of assets, components and software. Requirements: POSITION REQUIREMENTS: - Degree in Information Technology or 3 years of experience in a technical assistance/help desk environment - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Basic technical knowledge of servers, networks, mobile devices, applications. - Intermediate usage level of with Web based systems, and Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint PREFER a Technical Specialist with Experience in supporting or using an ERP type system and ability to support and or usage of an Active Directory, Citrix and Windows/SQL Operating Systems.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
