Will analyze, design, develop, acquire, test, implement, document, and modify complex computer systems for the university using tools such as JEE, ASP.Net, Active Server Pages, Visual Basic, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle DB, HTML, CSS, AJAX, Java/VB Script, JQuery, LESS, SASS, and Coffeescript; will work in a highly dynamic team environment while mentoring and providing leadership to team members; independently meets with customers to determine information technology needs, status, and cross-system issues on projects of medium to large sensitivity or complexity, including integration of business functions, interface design, and database design contributes on application development projects of medium to large size, complexity, and duration, including contributing to project plans, project scope, cost estimates, coordinating activities of programmers and customers, and provides support for and input into priority management.
Minimum Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, business, or related field, with coursework in an information technology specialization related to the area of employment; more than five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in an information technology area related to the duties to be performed, including computer application development using JEE, ASP.Net, Active Server Pages, Visual Basic, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle DB, HTML, CSS, AJAX, Java/VB Script, JQuery, LESS, SASS, and Coffeescript; experience as a team lead or operational manager; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills (both verbal and written); excellent analytical, leadership, and organizational skills; experience supporting, developing, and implementing business applications; experience in mentoring less experienced programmers and analysts; ability to work independently on complex work assignments; ability to independently lead a team of high performing programmers; ability to effectively manage large projects to completion using resources within and outside of direct lines of authority; ability to achieve results and demonstrate leadership under adverse circumstances (e.g., outages, limited resources and capabilities, shifting business directions, limited communication channels, cultural challenges, etc.); experience managing software development lifecycle processes, procedures and roles with engineering methods and processes from traditional to agile approaches; experience in data integration, warehousing, and analysis; experience with Web services and mobile development.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
