Massage Therapist
We seek massage therapists with a love of helping people and a commitment to continued education. We are currently receiving referrals from Nurse Practice Managers to work with people who have survived auto accidents and are in rehabilitation facilities, brain injury centers, nursing homes, hospitals and private homes as well as referrals from doctors and VA hospitals. An interest in working with people experiencing acute or chronic pain is a plus. Our practice is diverse and includes athletes including, both competitive and weekend warriors, providing therapists to work at the 4 day DALMAC cross Michigan bike ride, referrals from the MSU performing arts center including traveling Broadway Shows, NYC Ballet, etc, oncology patients, pregnant women, special needs adults and children, etc. We have a beautiful facility, but we are not a spa. This is the center in Mid-Michigan that people call when looking for skilled massage therapy. Our center has been recognized and awarded with the City of East Lansing's Crystal Award for our volunteer work in the community, The Lansing Area Chamber of Commerce Small Business Award and the Entrepreneurial award for Health Care from the Greater Lansing Business Monthly. Two of our therapists, over the years, have been invited to work at the Olympics, one four times.
We offer a competitive salary to our employees of $25.55-$34.75 per treatment hour PLUS TIPS based on employment categories of 6 month introductory rate, part-time or full-time and longevity) , employee bonus is given to each staff member in years that we have a profit, paid continued education at 6 months, paid retirement match in a Simple IRA at 2 years, supplies and equipment, paid liability insurance after 6 months, mentoring as needed, use of space and supplies to trade with colleagues encouraged, discounts on services, classes and health supplies, AFLAC supplemental insurance available with staff's pre-tax dollars, front desk staff 7 days and 6 nights per week to schedule our appointments, accept payment and for our safety, an on-site Marketing Director and Event Manager to help us build a practice and keep busy, insurance billing.
