Vehicle Description The car was acquired in July 2019 and the 400ci V8 was removed, rebuilt, refinished, and dyno-tuned.
Additional work performed includes installing a limited-slip differential, servicing the brakes, and replacing the shocks, belts, filters, heater hoses, and exhaust gaskets.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission, and under previous ownership the exterior was refinished in Provincial White over a black interior.
Additional equipment includes chrome exhaust tips, Rally-style wheels, and an AM radio.
There are partial records from the previous owner, in-progress photos from the 2019 powertrain work, and a clean Michigan title.
The exterior was refinished in its factory-delivered Provincial White (C) under prior ownership and features red pinstriping as well as chrome-finished bumpers and exhaust tips.
Rally-style wheels are mounted with 1 spacers and have Oldsmobile center caps as well as redline tires.
The brake shoes and the shocks have been replaced.
The interior has individual front bucket seats and a rear bench with black upholstery (980).
The black carpeting is fitted with 442-branded floor mats.
A woodgrain steering wheel sits ahead of a dashboard that has a black cover and an Oldsmobile AM radio.
Factory instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, auxiliary gauges, and an analog clock.
Additional gauges have been added under the dash.
The odometer shows 84k miles, and true mileage is unknown.
The 400ci V8 was removed from the car, rebuilt, and refinished by 3GT Racing of East Lansing, Michigan.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a three-speed TH400 automatic transmission and an aftermarket limited-slip differential.
The transmission has been serviced, the red engine-bay fender liners have been refurbished, and also that the drive belts, exhaust gaskets, exhaust hangers, heater hoses, and filters have been replaced.
A video of the engine on a dynamometer is provided.
The results show the engine produced approximately 400 horsepower at 4,900 rpm and 470 lb-ft of torque at 3,400 rpm.
